ACCUSATIONS of negligence have been levelled against both Ray Nkonyeni and Ugu District municipalities for unfinished work.
Up and down the coast workers excavate roads and dig up pavements but never seem to clear the debris once the jobs have been completed.
Ugly tape, heaps of unearthed soil and large chunks of tar are simply left behind after the workmen move off site.
There are also dangerous trenches left unfilled.
Please can we have a big tidy up before our Easter and South Coast Bike Fest visitors start arriving next month.
And not just by the municipalities – homeowners and landlords also need to make more of an effort.
Hats off to the people of Pumula for their beautiful community gardens.
