Enter fundraising trail run
The Keep Scottburgh Beautiful Trail Run and Fundraising Family Day will be held on October 6.
Scottburgh athletes are currently prepping for the Karkloof Trail Run in September.
Last year’s local participants described the race as a tough one and definitely not for the faint-hearted. Good luck to everyone involved.
Another exciting event is happening soon.
The Keep Scottburgh Beautiful Trail Run and Fundraising Family Day will be held on October 6 from 08:00 to 13:00.
This will include a morning of trail running, entertainment and… shopping! There will be a mini market, kids’ corner and entertainment for all.
The day kicks off at Scottburgh Mall with a 6km or 12km trail run. There will be some great prizes up for grabs as well.
The start and end point will be the mall’s back parking lot (Gold Rush area).
The 12km starts at 08:00, and entry fee is R120. The 6km starts at 08:30, and entry fee is R80.
Proceeds from the day will be donated to Keep Scottburgh Beautiful to help fund community initiatives. It is a non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting and enhancing the natural beauty of Scottburgh.
Entries can be collected from Surfers Paradise, Scottburgh Mall and are also available at Web Tickets.
