KZN honour for darts players

They'd better pack an extra jersey or two.

Darts players Minette Nawaretell and Rowan Smith from Margate Darts Association have been selected to represent the KwaZulu-Natal Darts Federation at the National Darts Tournament in Mangaung, Bloemfontein from June 23 to 29.

They will be playing in the ladies and youth sections, respectively. It’s a first for both the players and the club, and they are all justifiably proud.

Minette only joined MDA in 2024 and has achieved her KZN colours.

Rowan joined last year, but because of his age, he could only play in the trials this year.

“We are extremely proud of them. MDA wishes them everything of the best,” said chairman Neville Naidoo.

Up-and-coming player, Rowan Smith.
