Jared hooks win at Margate CC
There have been various competitions held at the club recently.
The Hookers’ competition at Margate Country Club last Sunday was won by Jared Botha on 41 points.
The ladies’ competition last Tuesday was won by Dawn Howden, Cathy Meyer, Wondra Bothma and Wilna Olkers on 85 points.
The 100-Club last Wednesday was won on 38 points by Flip Fourie and Johan Williams.
The business day last Friday was won by Flip Fourie and Johan Stoltz on 89 points.
They counted out Johann Erasmus and Chris Nel.
In third place on 88 points were Kevin Oxenham and Collin Penny, counting out Kim and Dawn Howden.
Two-clubs: Colin Penny (2nd), Johan Human (4th), Johann Stoltz (8th), Johann Erasmus (11th).
Nearest the pin: Carlos Pereira (4th) and Johan Human (10th – for two).
The Suid-Natal Primary day last Saturday was played as a fourball alliance scramble drive.
Winners on 116 points were Ronald Mtshaka, AB Sidumo, Emmanual Mseleku and S Mjoli.
Runners-up on 112 points were Johan Stoltz, PJ Venter, Cobus Scholz and Koos Jacobs.
