THE BELL
Sandy van Niekerk earned a bronze medal at the open interdistricts played a fortnight ago.
The 3rd Avenue Restaurant competition winners were Louw Vermeulen, Jimmy Holtshauzen and Kevin Mullen.
Runners-up were Annette Suther, Stuart Chapple and Laraine Harris.
In third place were Barry and Desiree Krause, with Gerda Clark.
Well done to the men’s and ladies’ fours team that won their sections in the KBA fours last weekend.
Good bowling next weekend in the playoffs.

MARGATE
The Ken Tonge sponsored ladies’ trips played last Friday was won by Pat Brand Lyle, Leoni Booth and Pauline Isaac.
Runners-up were Ann Waugh, Helen Pieters and Elsa Lourens.
First session winners were Pauline Dunlop, Marilyn Francis and Anthea Bratby.
Second session winners were Trixi Smith, Jeanne Gregori and Yvonne Bausek.
Lucky draw was won by Avril Cannon.

SOUTHBROOM
Winning the JL Panelbeaters’ men’s fours were Chris Green, Bruce Lund, Gary Wells and Graeme Russell.
Runners-up were Bill Eccles, Johan du Preez, Dave van As and Mannie Rodriguez.
In third place were Mervyn Barratt, Harry Devenish, Des Evans and Elliot Nqoko.

HIBBERDENE
The Gladiator Security drawn mixed trips were won by Kobus Rossouw, Bubbles Bezuidenhout and Brian Mertz.
Runners-up were Eddie Milne, Estelle Quinn and Hester Boshoff.
Session went to Div de Villiers, Gill Rule and Les Horner.

TWENI
The Astron Energy mixed trips was won by Robbie Duyts, Monica Middlewick and Rosemarie Ludwig.
Runners-up were Albert van Niekerk, Dot Ellison and Jenny Robertson.
Session prize went to Derick Celliers, Ruth Findlay and Rita Pate.

RIVERSIDE
The winners of the recently held JL Panelbeaters competition were Marilyn Francis, Graham Dunlop and Pauline Dunlop.
