High lost ball count for Eagles

The next game will be on March 6.

The Umdoni Park golf course was the venue for the Village Eagles game this month.
The course was in immaculate condition. However, the lost ball count was very high at 168 for 68 players.

Special thanks goes to the staff of Umdoni Park for the wonderful condition of the course. Another special thanks to Pam in the pro shop for registering the golfers which enabled us to get everybody off on time.

Best lady was Shirley Chalupsky on 44 individual points and Dave Coward took the men’s prize on 45 points on a count out. The winners on the day were Kas van der Merwe, Bill Oliver, Dave Craig and Denis Middlemiss on an alliance score of 99 points.

The longest day and collecting the Stones Trophy were Eddie Matthews, Philip Bacchus, Clive Melville and Fanie de Jager on 82 points. The results were calculated by Stan Sim, Trevor Bell and Alistar Eyres.
Eddie Mathews presented the results. The fines session was presented by Derek Hodge. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for the prizes as presented. This is appreciated by all our members and makes the day very enjoyable and rewarding.

Our next game will be held at Scottburgh Golf Club on March 6. See you all there.

STAN SIM

Best Man Dave Coward and Best Lady Shirley Chalupsky.
