Football league games continue

The community is urged to come out in their numbers to support local clubs.

The taxi-related squabbles resulted in some teams not participating in the Gamalakhe Local Football Association’s League games last weekend, however matches continued at the TB Molefe Sports Field.
League organiser and coach, Tino Sbukwana said four of five matches were played.

“Makhoya FC took on Warriors and the score was 0-1, Strivers drew 2-2 against Seven Stars and Mthini faced Target and was beaten with a score of 4-0. Gunners won 1-0 against Gamalakhe Campus and the match between Margate and Scefesimnandi was postponed.

“Games will continue as usual this weekend, and we call on the community to support our local clubs. We also encourage young players to attend to learn a few skills,”Sbukwana added.
