A happy, healthy and prosperous new year to all our bowling friends.
Our first competition of 2024 took place on the January 9 in the form of a Mixed Fours format. Thanks to Marriott, our sponsors, for the prizes. The winners on a 4+19 were Len Brickhill, Dave Coward, Christine Gage and Cheryl Pretorius who narrowly beat Mike and Sandy Davis, Jean Thomassen and Phumlani Myeni on 4+18.
Second session on a 2+10 was won by John and Estelle Collier, Gavin Muller and Linda Baptiste.
Our much enjoyed and popular Twilight competition to support our district bowlers begins on Tuesday, January 23. A big thank you to the 24 teams that have entered.
Congratulations to our Mixed Pairs teams that competed in the KBA competition last weekend. Bob Elliott and Louise Trollip won their section but were unfortunately beaten in the first round play off.
