Meat prize for Rob

There were quite a few two-clubs this past week.

The Meat Competition last Thursday was won on 43 points by Rob Weyer, with Danie Muller next on 36 points. Two-clubs – Collin Penny (4th). Nearest the pin – Coilin Penny (4th) and Angus McLachlan (16th).

Saturday’s competition was won on 40 points by Dolf Willemse, with Graeme Massam next on 35 points. Nearest the pin – Rob Weyer (4th) and Johan Stolz (11th). Two-clubs – Rob Weyer (4th) and Johan Stoltz (11th).

In the ladies’ section, the Combined Stableford (nine holes only) was won by Una McLachlan and Agnes Spielmann on 32 points. They counted out Suzette Olivier and Maureen Ogilvie.
The Wobblers’ game last Wednesday was won on 86 points by Marcus Donovan, Frank Merrill and Eddie Gomersall.

Runners-up on 82 points were Thys Bothma, Bob Weanie and John Ford, followed by Hans Dallinger, Dave Hepworth and Rolf Spielmann on 81 points.

The Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Wayne Minnaar, Alan Davies and Freddie Boshoff on 75 points.
Two-clubs – Thys Bothma (16th). Nearest the pin – Eddie Gommersall (8th).
