The monthly Hibiscus Brokers Mixed Trips was played on September 19. Winners were Liesje de Rosner, Derek Hodge and Helen Turk with a score of 4+25 from runners-up Linda Mynhardt, Fred Hutchins and Alf Toy (4+15). The session prize winners were Colin Winton, Alex Cameron and Loretta Holiness (2+16)
The drawn pairs championship finals were played on September 27. In the men’s section, the winners were Len Brickhill and Denton Duval over runners-up Brian McAlister and Hugh Lindsay while the ladies’ section winners were Liesje de Rosner and Colleen Porter over runners-up Rose Daniel and Louise Trollip.
The monthly Enzo Ladies Trips was played on September 28. The winners were Myra Bakeberg, Beryl Findlay and Denton Duval with a score of 4+9 from runners-up Noelene Venter, Karen Chiole and Cheryl Pretorius (3+8).
The session prize winners were Liesje de Rosner, Christine Gage and Barbera Henderson (2+3).
