KINGFISHER BA
Winners of the 2 bowl trips were Shane Nienaber, Bruce Miller and Ross Ferguson from RSC. Second were Robbie Duyts, Johannie Theron and Andre Kruis from the Bell. Tie for third were St John Roodt, Mark Kassner and Carol Roodt from RSC and Brian Rawlins, Jenny Rawlins and Winnie Hess from PSCC.
The team that will represent the KBA at the Bowls South Africa Under 30 tournament in Klerksdorp from the 23 – 25 September are Skip – Brandon Nicholas (Bell), Third – Ashley Jacobs (Umkomaas), Second – Stjon Podmore (Bell), Lead – Dillion Schoeman (Riverside) and Manager – David Nicholas (Bell).
A huge thank you to BSA for their assistance in covering the costs of sending these youngsters away to represent the district.

UMTENTWENI
Tweni Pharmacy Men’s pairs bowls was won by Peter von Brandis and Mike Schmidt. Runners-up were Kevin Mullen and Tony Aveyard.
Session prize was won by Jim Vaughn and Dieter Botha.
The winners of the Caltex Fresh Stop mixed trips bowls were Richard Dunn, Rienie Blignaut and Brian Mertz. Runners-up were Monica Middlewick, Dick Eltringham and Jing Eltringham. Dennis Graham, Kitty Cochman and Zac Graham took the session prize.

HIBBERDENE
The Hibberdene Pharmacy drawn trips was won by Estelle Quinn, Div de Villiers and Sheryll Lederle. Second place went to Rienie Blignault, Les Horner and Hettie Nel. Third spot went to Judy Hoyer, Bez Bezuidenhout and Helene Oosthuizen. The next competition will be a nominated mixed trips sponsored by Gladiator.

THE BELL
Well done to Robbie Duyts, Johannie Theron and Andre Kruis for winning silver in the KBA 2 bowl trips. Also well done to Hew Hodgeson, Mada Lindeque and Kevin Mullen for getting to the quarter finals.
The new committee was elected at our AGM on Friday. They are wished well as they continue to keep the club moving forward.

THE VILLAGE
Annette Payne, Norman Davies and Louis Heystek won the Hibiscus Retirement Village open trips. Runners-up were Gary Hess, Manny Rodrigues and Mervyn Barratt. The first session winners were Glyn Evans, Hylton Cannon and Debby Evans. Second session winners were Tiens Zietsman, Trevor Prinsloo and Billy Eccles.
