Fierce competition at Creston’s golf day

Top honours went to Jesse Verster and George Bowie, who clinched the first-place prize.

Creston College hosted its annual golf day at the picturesque Port Shepstone Country Club last Saturday. The event, bathed in beautiful sunny skies, proved to be a resounding success.

With a full field of enthusiastic players, the competition was fierce. The top honours went to Jesse Verster and George Bowie, who clinched the first-place prize, followed closely by Sven Rossler and Jarryd Holmes in second place. The third spot on the leader board was secured by Nkazimulo Nqoko and Emmanuel Mseleku.

Adding an extra layer of fun to the day, the Par 3 challenge took place prior to the main event, and it was Diana and Eddie Ringo who emerged victorious. They were closely followed by Lane and Kelly Allan in second place, with Ryan Ringo and Jamie-Lee Rogers securing the third position.

Congratulations to Easigrass for winning the prestigious ‘best stand’ trophy. Their exceptional display and presentation at the event clearly stood out.
