With August being Women’s Month, AMBC held their annual Pink Ladies Drive Women’s Trips with a field of 48 players (16 teams) last Thursday.
Teams came from Hibberdene, Scottburgh, Sezela, Widenham and AMBC to support this wonderful day and donated generously, to raise funds for Umkomaas’s Khanya Hospice.
The light drizzle did not dampen their enthusiasm and they produced good bowls and had a lot of fun. The day raised R1340 and AMBC club donated a further R460 for a total donation of R1800.
The winners with 4+16 were Linda Bolter, Estelle Collier and Linda Baptie and the runners-up with 4+13 were Gay Symonds, Avril Black and Claire Helfrich.
The session price was won by Stef Podmore, Elsabe Venter and Janet Boyd with 2+12
