Hundreds for Kim at Margate

The course is in good condition for late winter.

Kim Howden won the 100 Club at Margate Country Club last Tuesday on 32 points.
The Meat Competition last Wednesday was won by Des Potts on 43 points, with Craig Rademan next on 41 points.
Two-clubs were carded by Johan Stolz, Joe Espach, Bill Sargeant and Des Potts.
Nearest the pins were Carlos Pereira (4th) and Craig Rademan (11th).
The ladies enjoyed the Sandi’s Surprise last Saturday, won by Suzette Olivier, Rina Rito and Hannetjie Pretorius on 140 points.

Runners-up were Sandi Johnston, Cathy Meyer and Dawn Howden on 131 points.
In third place were Wilna Olkers, Connie McArthur and Lizzy Meyer on 123 points.
Saturday’s Meat Competition (monthly mug) was won by Poen Olivier on nett 71. John Evans was runner-up on nett 75.

B division honours went to Graeme Massam on nett 68, with Harold Olkers next on nett 73.
Johann Erasmus won the C division on 37 points, with Colin Penny next on 36 points.
Two-club were chalked up Arthur Ehlert (8th). Nearest the pin was John Evans (11th) about a foot away yet somehow did not scare the hole with his putt.
The Wobblers’ game last Wednesday was won by Wayne Minnaar, Dave Morrison and Hans Dallinger on 86 points.
Runners-up on 85 points was Dave Hepworth’s fourball.
Third place on 79 points went to Eddie Gommersall, Johan Human and Frank Merrill.

The Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Thys Bothma, Hans Beilhartz and Dave Boyd on 74 points.
Two-clubs – Eddie Gommersall had the only two-club, on the 16th, although Rod O’Farrell was nearest the pin.
