One of the major highlights on the Karate South Africa calendar is the KSA Protea awards evening.
This was held in Durban on the evening of July 15.
Karateka from around the country were honoured at this prestigious awards evening, which is recognised by Sascoc.
A group of Ugu karateka, who have worked tirelessly this past year, received recognition for their achievements at the dinner.
As per Sascoc rules, athletes who are ranked number one and two qualify for Protea colours and athletes ranked three and four receive KSA colours.
Receiving Protea colours were Hogan brothers Blake and Tyler.
Receiving Karate South Africa colors were Gareth Selkon, Dylan Peeriyalal and Travis Campher.
