Izotsha cricketers awarded special badges

The Grade 2s won all their hockey matches and the Grade 2 and 3 teams each lost one match.

There has yet again been another busy and exciting week of sport.

The intermediate and senior phases played against Southcity. The results were as follows: U11A rugby boys won 20-0, U11B boys’ hockey won 1-0, U11A girls hockey won 2-1, U11B girls hockey won 2-1, U11A netball girls lost 0-4, U13A netball lost 3-14, U13B netball lost, U13A girls hockey lost 0-1, U13A boys hockey lost 1-2, U13B boys hockey lost 0-1, U13A rugby boys lost 22-24.

The foundation phase’s hockey girls’ A teams in Grades 1- 3, participated in a winter sports day at Suid-Natal last weekend. All teams played exceptionally well.
The Grade 2s won their matches and the Grades 2 and 3 teams each lost one match. The coaches commented that the sportsmanship displayed was commendable. A fun-filled morning was had by all.

The school is extremely proud of Sphephelo Mlambo and Jacob Steynberg who were both selected for the SKZN U11 cricket team earlier this year. They were each awarded special badges at assembly on Monday this week.
