SOUTHBROOM
Winning the Tiago’s men’s trips were Ken Tong, Ian Hutton and Hugo Pio.
Runners-up were Richard Derman, Heiner Wolber and Wayne Addison.
First session went to Tiens Zietsmann, David van As and Johan du Preez.
Second session went to John Keppler, Steve Rennie and Colin Gourlie.
With one afternoon to go in the Re/Max – Southbroom B20 Cricket-Bowls league, five of the 12 teams have the same number of points, making for an exciting finish to the inaugural tournament.
Nashua Lightning – remarkable because it is fielding two non-bowlers in the team of three – has the best net run-difference, closely followed by The Southbroom Scorchers and Wolf Security’s Wolf Pack.
Four points are up for grabs in the final two rounds, so any one of six teams could still walk off with the cash.
The principal sponsor, Re/Max Coast and Country has also put up a trophy for the Best Novice.
Southbroom president Cleve Walker said that the motivation behind the B20 League was to introduce players to the game of lawn bowls in an eye-catching manner and to generate interest in the sport.

THE BELL
The Harbourview Superspar sponsored trips was won by Jean and Bob Squires with Carl Volker.
Second were Robbie Duyts with Hans and Dina van der Walt, followed by Anne Payn, Rentie Stevens and Stippie Scholtz.
There were two full greens again for this very well supported competition.
The Food Lover’s Market 2-4-2 was won by Clinton and Marian Knott.
Runners-up were Hew Hodgeson and Mada Lindeque, with session to Neil and Nossie Patterson.
Well done to all who won their sections in the KBA men’s and ladies pairs played this weekend. Play well next Sunday.

PORT EDWARD
Winners of the Pro-10 played last week were Chris Pozane, Johan Visser and Amanda Visser.
Runners-up were Arthur Ronaldson, Trevor Smith and Derek Wicks.
Session prize went to Dave Banks, Pauline Isaac and Mark Barnes.

TWENI
The Wimpy Oribi ladies pairs bowls competition was won by Annette Suther and Gerda Clark.
Runner-up were Anne Payn and Rosemary Ludwig.
Session prize went to Kitty Cochman and Trudy Rush.

HIBBERDENE
The drawn 2-4-2 pairs competition, sponsored by Dennis Lewis, was won by Alex Bukes and Judy Aiston.
Second were Bruce Hoyer and Hester Boshoff, followed by Alida Munnik and Div de Villiers.
Next competition will be the nominated trips sponsored by Re/Max.

RIVERSIDE
The Food Lover’s Market drawn trips was won by André Maulgue, Clive Edmundson and Carol Roodt.
Runners-up were Wilma Steinman, Anthea Bratby and Mark Kassner.

VILLAGE
Winning the Hibiscus Insurance Brokers Open 2-4-2 were John Keppler and Steve Rennie.
Runners-up were St John Roodt and Johan du Preez. Third place went to Amanda Visser and Johan Visser.
First session winners were Tiens Zietsman and Kobie Ritchie and second session winners were Dave van As and Greg Bosch.
