Entries open for Scottburgh surf competition

The Rip Curl GromSearch has always been a platform for young surfers to showcase their skills and compete against their peers.

Due to unprecedented interest, the Rip Curl GromSearch Scottburgh presented by the Blue Marlin Hotel has been extended to three days of competition.

The tournament will begin on March 31, and finish on April 2 with a prizegiving at the contest site. Entries are open online and are nearly full.
The contest, the third in a five-part series, caters to surfers from U12, U14, U16 and U18, boys and girls. The first competition took place at Long Beach in Cape Town, the second at Victoria Bay in George, and the Scottburgh contest will be the third competition. Series ratings will be decided on the top four out of five events.

The Rip Curl GromSearch has always been a platform for young surfers to showcase their skills and compete against their peers. The Rip Curl GromSearch contests are all Premier SAST events, with 1000 points going to the winners and prizemoney per all premier events.
