News and results from South Coast bowling clubs.

KINGFISHER BA
The KBA Masters Singles was played at The Bell last weekend.
Men’s gold was won by Louw Vermeulen (The Bell) from Shane Nienaber (Riverside). Joint third were Timothy Woolley and Terrance McGlynn, both Riverside.
Women’s gold was secured by Pam Cole-Cook (Banners Rest), with silver going to Liesje de Rosner (AMBC). Joint bronze were Johannie Theron and Sharolyn Dacey, both The Bell.

RIVERSIDE
The first event on the club’s newly refurbished A Green saw our women of the district once more having really competitive and skilled good fun.
Winners this month were the Margate team of Trixi Smith, Yvvone Bausek, Heidi Bracegirdle and Jeanne Gregori with 24 points.
Runners-up were the Southbroom team of Julie Walker, Mal Sheppard, Ren Smuts and Brigitte with 21 points.
Third place went to log leaders Banners Rest, namely Pam Cole-Cooke, Janet Venter, Katy Babich and Amelia Pieterse.
The last event of the year will be on December 2 and there is all to play for.
Log leaders are Banners Rest on 64 points, followed by Riverside on 53 points and Margate on 51 points.

THE BELL
Well done to Louw Vermeulen on winning gold at the KBA Masters at The Bell last weekend.
Sharolyn Dacey and Johannie Theron shared bronze in the women’s section.
Club members are proud of them, and also of Hans van der Walt, who also did himself and the club proud.
Winners of the Casa Mia/1st Choice Home Cleaners/Pool Prof fours played last week Renzo van Niekerk, Louw Brits, Tony Aveyard and Frik Janse van Rensburg.
Runners-up were Ann Swanepoel, Daphne Sapsford, Ryan Keys and Mada Lindeque.
Third were Keiron Dacey, Steve O’Moore, Dina van der Walt and Sharolyn Dacey.

PORT EDWARD
The Wally Brass Friendship Cup was played last weekend and won by Tony Going, Uys Killian, Mark Barnes and Derek Wicks.
Tied for second were Chris Green, Mike Dixie, Pauline Isaac, Rob Lyle and Jokkie van Buuren, Ken Simm, Gary Wells, Colin Gourlie.
The Cowshed 2-bows trips last Thursday was won by Bruce Lund, Lyn Walton and Anne Wells, from John Keppler, Steve Rennie and Colin Gourlie.
Third place went to Brian Cole-Cook, Janet Venter and Pam Cole-Cook.

HIBBERDENE
Hibberdene Pharmacy drawn trips were won by Albert Munnik, Alida Munnik and Andrew Maree.
Second were Alex Bukes, Nossie Patterson and Neil Patterson.
Third were Johan Labuschagne, Elize Duvenhage and Maureen du Toit.
Next competition will be this Friday (18th), drawn trips sponsored by Gladiator Security.

MARGATE BC
The Hibiscus Brokers Sponsored Open Trips was won by Bill Eccles, Manny Rodrigues and Louis Heystek. Runners-up were Lenie Geyer, Trevor Prinsloo and Dave van As.
Session prize went to Tiens Zietsman, Martiens Olivier and Kobie Ritchie. Lucky draw was won by Mark Kassner.
