Visitors leave with main prizes at Beekman Classic

The annual event was again well supported.

The popular annual Beekman Classic at Port Shepstone Country Club was won by visitors Christo van Tonder and Bennie van der Berg.

They scored 89 points to win by three from Niel Retief and Christo Janse van Vuuren.

One point further behind on 85 points were Sidney Shingange and James Coull, who blitzed on Sunday, with a 67 gross.

Danie van Tonder (Leaf Technologies), John Beekman, winners Christo van Tonder and Bennie van der Berg and Kevin Hasselbach (Leaf Technologies).

Main sponsors were Leaf Technologies and Momentum Consult. Those who played were thanked, as well as the other sponsors who contributed to the event.

Third place went to Sidney Shingange and James Coull, seen with John Beekman.

The previous Wednesday’s competition was won on 39 points by Ewald Ziervogel, three ahead of Allan Rowley on 36 points, with Chris du Plessis next on 35 points.
