Southbroom Golf Club’s annual Heritage Day Alliance was won by Brian Jolliffe, Johan Wentzel, Anton Kohrmann and Gavin Sole on 93 points ahead of Ant Hughes, Derek James, Graham Sole and Grant Richards on 89 points. In third place on 88 points were Colin McKay, Malcolm Greenland, Anton Leal and Rory O’ Donnell.
The ladies division was won by Jo Ledden, Heleen Hissey, Eli Bachmann and Jean Cole on 84 points.
On Wednesday, the Mary Thomson Memorial Goblet Individual Stableford was won by Sue Kupisiewicz on 38 pts. Sue generously donated her R420 prize to the SPCA.
The men’s alliance saw Bruce Begley, Mike Lig, Peter Kupisiewicz and Norman Jeffery win on 86 pts with runners’ up, Don Osbourn, Bob Clark, Bob O’Callaghan and Chris Ledden finishing on 83 pts.
Chicken Run results were: Jasen Welsh winning with 21 pts and Graham Massyn, Nicky Smith and Craig Charlton all finishing on 18 pts
