Super support for Southbroom Conservancy day

The course is looking really good.

The Southbroom Conservancy annual fundraiser golf day last Saturday was won on 87 points by Anton Leal, Terry Shepard, Ant Hughes and Alan Woods.

They counted out Greg Small, Walter Kuhn, Anton Potgieter and Kevin Wood.

In third place on 86 points were Rob Meydell, Bruce Begley, Jim Di Mambro and Malcolm Moorley.

The ladies section was won by Sue Kupisiwicz, Precious Mkhungo, Rene Matthew and Shelley Myers on 79 points.

Runners-up were Candida Amm, Shirley Jeffery, Jeanne Powell and Nsipho Mapumulo.

Runners-up were Anton Potgieter, Greg Small, Walter Kuhn and Kevin Wood.

Third place went to Allyson Thomas, Solange Fox, Irene Schanda and Gail Hurry.

The previous Wednesday’s competition was won on 83 points by Heiner Hedtrich, Phil Verwey, Chris Ledden and Brian Richards, counting out Bob Carmichael, Malcolm Greenland, Ross McKay and Keegan O’Connell.

The women’s competition, the Lady Captain’s Choice, was a scramble drive alliance off the blue tees.

It was won on 70 points by Lee Mutch, Heleen Hissey, Irene Schanda and Janet Lehmann, by two from Jo Ledden, Rene Matthew, Sharon Turnbull-Jackson and Shirley Jeffery.
