Amakhono Okuphila Skills4Life recently held a fun run and walk fundraiser in Bushy Vales.
Proceeds of this event will be going towards the work of skills development of underprivileged youth, as well as the local rural communities in surrounding areas.
The fundraiser was a huge success with some 200 people coming out to support, either by taking part in the run/walk or simply enjoying the atmosphere and cheering others on.
There were plenty prizes up for grabs.
The Amakhono Okuphila Team thanked all the volunteers and attendees who supported, as well as all sponsors.
“The day exceeded all expectations and was memorable, to say the least,” said Kevin Proctor of Amakhono Okuphila.
