The Boertjies dominated this year’s Boertjies vs Souties fun golf competition at Margate Country Club.
The Boertjies totalled 769 points to the Souties 697 points for an emphatic victory. Best dressed player was Renet van Biljon.
Boertjies ‘generaal’ for the day was Kosie Jacobs, with Graeme Massam leading the Souties.
Chris Nel won the meat competition last Thursday on 41 points, two ahead of Carlos Pereira on 39 points.
Two-clubs were carded by Eddy Roux and Chris Nel. Nearest the pins were Joe Espach (4th) and Carlos Pereira (11th).
There were no results for ladies, 100 Club or Wobblers as they did not play due to the rain.
