Athletes achieve personal bests at Hillcrest marathon

Overall it was a great day out and the gazebo was up at the finish for all athletes, so they had a 'home' to go to after the race.

Scottburgh Athletics Club was out in full force at the Threshold Hillcrest marathon and half-marathon, last weekend.

There were quite a few personal bests which Mez Kennedy, Nyuswa Msawenkosi, Jacques Vriese, Brett Louw and Rhonwyn Brayley used as their Comrades qualifier.

Danielle Turner (left) and Kelly Saint ran the 21km marathon.
