The water is back on and a shower never felt so good.

On the golfing side, we at Scotties have had it reasonably good playing the full 18 holes albeit a little wet here and there.
On Wednesday, our local “treffer” Herman Grotius celebrated his birthday and he celebrated in style by sponsoring the betterball Stableford competition.
The sun also came out and we all had a great day.
Gary Jones and Tony Power posted the winning score with 43 winning by one from Les Huddle and Liagn Moolman on 42.
John Mills and Denis Brown managed 37 for third counting out Geoff Thommasen and Mike Eley for the fourth place prize.
Nearest the pins went to Org the farmer 2nd, Tony Power 5th, Wayne Simpson 10th with Shaun Jenkins nailing the 13th and 17th.
Wayne and Shaun got their 2 clubs with Tony Power and Leizl van de Merwe finally rescuing the bedraggled hidden holes. Oh yes, Linda Hall and Dolores McAuliffe lifted the Stone and the evening finished off in style with snacks and a hearty rendering of “Happy Birthday”.
On Wednesday it’s a betterball Stableford and on Saturday we get to play the weather delayed Lions sponsored day and the weather barometer is set fine.
A new list is on the board and everyone including visitors are welcome to join us in what promises to be a fun filled day.
They say you never forget how to ride a bike, but looking at some of those bikes over the weekend you need a masters degree in engineering with all those gears and gadgets they have.
The Joberg2c was a great success by all accounts and the committee would like to express their appreciation to all the members who came along and helped out before, during and after the race.
