Nomads donate to Entokozweni Village

At the handover, club vice-captain, Shaka Langa said there were many organisations they could have donated to but they chose Entokozweni.

Entokozweni, is a Zulu word which means place of happiness. That proved to be a reality at Entokozweni Village at Ezingolweni, as the place was filled with jubilation last Thursday.

The village was visited by Southern Natal Nomads Golf Club which donated 15 new mattresses at a cost of R65 000.

At the handover, club vice-captain, Shaka Langa said there were many organisations they could have donated to but they chose Entokozweni.

“We are a golf club but we do not only play golf, we also donate to the needy. We chose to donate to Entokozweni because they are honest and they are doing a great job of taking care of the vulnerable,” he said.

Village manager, Beauty Nkonyeni thanked Nomads. She said the donation came at a time when they needed it most.
