Tweni Tennis Club wraps up champs for 2020
Prize-giving took place after the special general meeting and the bring-and-braai was enjoyed by those who were able to stay.
The 2020 championships at Umtentweni Tennis Club have been completed and the men’s doubles winners are Dave van Tichelen and Rob Browne.
Mixed doubles winners are Ian Ackerman and Liesl Smith.
Prize-giving took place after the special general meeting and the bring-and-braai was enjoyed by those who were able to stay.
It was great to have five courts going last Saturday and Wayne Hartogh joined members for the afternoon.
Members welcome Tony van Tichelen and hope to see more of him on the courts in the future.
Members are reminded about the Ugu Pro-Kennex National Seniors’ Tournament from December 11 to 13.

The special concessionary fee of R250 is still being offered to first time entrants so let’s try to make it a bumper entry from Tweni, everyone.
