Sponsored wheels for Wade Young

The enduro racer is pleased to be partnering with Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach.

Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach has sponsored a Toyota Hilux Raider to KwaZulu-Natal-born enduro racer Wade Young.  In 2012, at age 16, Wade became the youngest ever winner of the Roof of Africa in Lesotho and has been a top contender in hard enduro ever since.

Not only is he the youngest racer to take the title in the 45-year history of the iconic event, but he is also the first South African to win the three-day event since 2007.

This year the event, known as the 2019 Motul Roof of Africa, was run in Lesotho from December 4 to December 7.

Wade told the Herald he is extremely pleased to be partnering with Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach. “This support is not something I take lightly and is very much appreciated. Thank you for opening this door of opportunity, which is a huge step for me to achieve my goals and succeed,” he said.
