KINGFISHER BA
The men’s and women’s KBA Midweek Fours competition section games were played from March with the semi-final and finals taking place at Margate Country Club recently.
The team of Brian Rawlins, Kevin Lancaster, Eddie Fann and Howard Frizelle from Port Shepstone Country Club took top honours in the men’s section.
Runners-up were Albert Munnik, Tabie Jonker, Ollie Coetzer and Arthur Seager from Hibberdene.

In the women’s section AMBC’s team of Louise Shone, Carol Cameron, Moira Humphrey and Rose Daniel took first place.
Placed second were Annetjie Kidd, Helen Turk, Liesje de Rosner and Gina George from AMBC.
HIBBERDENE
The Re/Max competition was won by Fay Patterson, Miriam Seager and Calvin Heidgen.
Runners-up were Norman Aiston, Hana Svoboda and Judy Aiston.
Session to Cyndy McMurtry, Colin Abbood and Charmaine van der Westhuizen.
MARGATE BC
John Dory’s tabs in last Thursday was won by Gordon Ogilvie, Georgie McKechnie and André Audibert.
Wimpy Shelly Beach competition was won by Yvonne Bausek, Brian Clark & Margaret Duffield.
MOTHS nationals starts this Sunday (26th), with a concert next Wednesday (29th).
SOUTHPORT
Men’s trips this week were won by Alan Jacobson, Hew Hodges and Phil Viljoen.
Runners-up were Johan du Preez, Richard Cochman and Artur Lopes.
Session went to Keith Mills, Peter Anderson and Pat Bird.
THE BELL
Jaxx Restaurant mixed trips were won by Renzo van Niekerk, Phil Viljoen and Hew Hodgson.
In second place were Don Russouw, Gert Snyman and Frik van Rensburg.
Session prize to Tammy Gibbons, Tony Aveyard and Marie Piek.
Congratulations to Louw Vermeulen, Kieron Dacey, Nico van Niekerk and Steve O’Moore who finished joint third in the KBA Midweek League.

Venture Inn mixed trips winners were Keith Mills, Tammy Gibbons and Peter Anderson.
