SANDY Fitzgerald won the women’s medal at Southbroom Golf Club last Wednesday on nett 68.
Stableford winner was Irene Schanda on 36 points, by two from Lesley Godley on 34 points and by three from Candida Amm on 33 points.

In the men’s section, the men’s winner was Dave Fox on nett 69.
Chris Miller won the Stableford on 38 points, counting out Piet Joubert.
Tied for third on 37 points were Otto Protzner, Joseph Stoellinger and Mike Lig.
Last Saturday’s Champagne Day was won on 45 points by Jenny Westray and Rita Kinghorn, by six from Lorraine Cook and Solange Fox.
One behind on 38 points were Rene Matthew and Allyson Thomas.
Meanwhile, in the men’s section, winners were Piet Joubert and Malcolm Moorley on 45 points, by one from Brian Hoggart and Vernon Duggan.
Tied for third on 43 points were Norman Farrell and Andrew Leckie, as well as Piet Joubert (pivot) and John Lison.
The Chicken Run last Friday was rained out.
