BANNERS REST

Congratulations to Brian Douthwaite and Dora Vosloo on winning the Lower South Coast 2-4-2 mixed pairs.

Rod and Mary Phelps took third place, and John Keppler and Leoni Booth fourth place.

The final Tops men’s pairs for this season was won by Kotie Snyman and Brian Cole-Cook.

Second were Rod Phelps and Ron Camps, and third Jimmy McAllister and Spike Williams. The 50/50 board went to Leigh Warner.

The club AGM will be held in the Breezeway on Monday, October 29 at 10am.

HIBBERDENE

The Mike Hoyer 2-4-2 was won by Eddie Milne with Jane Massam, from Norman and Judy Aiston.

Session to Richard Dunn with Joey Venter. Tiago’s mixed trips this Friday (7th).

Eddie Milne and Nossie Patterson organised an initial coaching clinic for 14 pupils from Hibberdene Academy, which was enjoyed by all.

MARGATE BC

Georgia Spur competition winners were Dennis Rehbok and Manny Rodrigues.

Runners-up Annette Payne and Ellen Cawker.

Session to Trevor Haywood and Brian Smalburger.

Quiz night on Wednesday, September 19 at 6.30pm. Cost is R70 per person including dinner.

Social bowls every Sunday at 9am.

MARGATE CC

Dora Vosloo and Brian Douthwaite won the Lower South Coast 2-4-2 Mixed Pairs competition.

The La Capannina Restaurant competition was won by Peter Griffiths, Barry Herbert and Johan Cooper.

Runners-up were Anji Gold, Eileen Lloyd, Peter McCarthy and Norman Bridger.

Winners of the AGM Trips , sponsored by Manaba Kwik Spar were Anji Gold, Mike Prinsloo and Mike Green.

Runners-up were Brian Douthwaite, Ann Church and Johan Gerber.

MUNSTER

Spring day tabs winners were Joey Anderson and Sergio Ruperto, from Cliff Moakes and Chris Green.

30-club winners were Lynn Meek, Joan Lindley and Trish Houbert.

‘Wick Inn’ draw this Friday (7th) at 5pm sharp – you must be there to win it.

NOMADS

The next Nomads Lower South Coast Cavaliers outing will not be this Sunday (9th) as previously advertised.

Instead it will take place at Southbroom next Sunday, September 16.

Bring and braai after the game. All bowlers are welcome to play on the day.

PSCC

The monthly Harbour View SuperSpar trips was won by Jeff Barnes, Jane Massam and Alan Booth.

Runners-up were Eddie Fann, Caroline Harris and Nico de Jong.

SOUTHPORT

Winners of the Harbour View SuperSpar women’s trips were Una van Eeden, Adele Reeder and Desire Krause.

Runners-up were Tammy Gibbons, Daphne Hounsell and Nikita Coetzer.

Session went to Susan van Rooyen, July Ross and Laraine Harris.

The Dr D’Arcy mixed trips was won by Richard Cochman, Marie Pick and Glenda Verster.

Runners-up were Molly Williams, Trudy Rush and Frik van Niekerk.

Session went to Napier Verster, Bob Moroney and Lyn Harris.

THE BELL

The Orca’s restaurant sponsored mixed trips was won by Rynier van Tonder, Tony Aveyard and Frikkie van Rensburg.

In second place were Maureen Head, Tony Olivant and Neil Ferreira.

Session prize went to Peet and Susan van Rooyen with Kevin Mullen.

Harbour View SuperSpar mixed fours this Friday (7th) and 1st Choice/Jaxx open trips next Tuesday (11th).

Club AGM this Saturday (8th) at 3pm. Bring and braai this Sunday (9th).

VILLAGE

Hopdens Kwikspar mixed 2-4-2 winners were Trevor and Yvonne Anderson. Runners-up were Cleve and Julie Walker.

First session to Hein Bester and Annette Payne; second session to Trevor and Vouline Prinsloo, with 50/50 winner Julie Walker.

Food Lover’s Market drawn trips winners were Alan Tyers, Orrill Day and Mike Ryan.

Runners-up were Trevor Anderson, Lucas Barnard and Marie Momple.
