Volkswagen Polo fans who attended the launch of the New Polo at South Coast Volkswagen in Margate last week Saturday were impressed to find a striking car with dynamic lines matched by impressive performance.
WATCH:
Since its launch in 2010, the Volkswagen Polo hatch has consistently been the second best-selling passenger car in South Africa, with its sibling the Polo Vivo being SA’s best-seller.
Now in 2018, VW launches its New Polo – longer, lower, larger inside and packed with new features that have trickled down from its Golf sibling.

The car has a completely redesigned interior offering more interior room and driver assistance systems. It’s a lot more assertive in appearance than its predecessor, though borrowing heavily from the current Golf.

The moment you set eyes on the New Polo, you’ll see that every inch has been carefully considered to bring you a vehicle with charisma at every curve.

This distinct new design line cuts a dash along the side of the car, from the indicators all the way to the rear lights. This structures the car’s side profile, forming a strong shoulder section that gives New Polo a bolder presence than before.
