SEBASTIAN Vettel drove very well to win the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest last Sunday, despite a niggling steering problem.
I thought that Max Verstappen, who came home fifth only 13 seconds behind the winner, should have been driver of the day after a 10 second penalty for bumping his teammate, had set him back.

The organisers awarded driver of the day to Kimi Raikkonen after a very good drive.
The flying Ferraris had been untouchable for the whole race and neither Lewis Hamilton nor Valtteri Bottas could get past the Prancing Horse cars.
After the top five came a surprised Fernando Alonso who also took the fastest lap of the race.
Teammate Stoffel Vandoorne brought the other McLaren Honda home 10th so that both cars scored championship points.
Carlos Sainz was seventh in his Toro Rosso and the two Force Indias were line astern in eighth and ninth, Sergio Perez lead Esteban Ocon home.
We now have a break for four weeks until Spa on August 27 for round number 12 of 20 races.
The others to come are Monza (September 3), Singapore (September 17), Malaysia (October 1), Japan (October 8), United States (October 22), Mexico (October 29), Brazil November (12) and UAE, the final race, on November 26.
The circuits are, in the main, a mix between fast and medium speed tracks with Mercedes more suited to the fast and Ferrari the latter.
At this stage this augers well for a healthy battle between the two great marques in the second half of the season.
