Izotsha cricketers deliver

Gr 7 pupils are looking forward to hosting a ‘Parents and grandparents tea party’ this Friday.

IZOTSHA Primary played cricket against Southcity and the U11A boys won by 6 wickets. Southcity batted first, making 49 runs. There was excellent bowling by the Izotsha boys. Zach Lawrence took four wickets in four overs and Bruce Bormann took two wickets in three overs.

Guy Henderson batted extremely well and scored 22 runs. The U11B boys won by 22 runs with Izotsha making 78 runs of which Gugu Ngubane made 32. The Izotsha senior A boys won by seven wickets, with Chad Laycock scoring 66 not out. Junior and senior girls combined to make up two mixed cricket teams that took part in a cricket tournament at Creston College last Friday.

Gr 7 pupils are looking forward to hosting a ‘Parents and grandparents tea party’ this Friday where they will showcase several items from their Arts and Culture programme.
