PSIS hosts volleyball tournament

Eight schools from around the province displayed their volleyball talent at the Marburg Sports Complex.

PORT Shepstone Islamic School hosted the recent AMS Provincial KZN Volleyball Tournament for the first time.

Eight schools from around the province displayed their volleyball talent at the Marburg Sports Complex.

Islamic School won the U13 and open divisions with special awards presented to Sulaiman Ganie (best setter), Mohammad Dindar (best attacker) and Yusuf Hoosen (most valuable player).

In the open team, special awards were presented to Mohammed Sohail Shaik (best setter) and Muhammud Desai (best attacker).

Al-Falaah College won the U15 division and Zakariya Muslim School won the U17 division.

This event was well–attended and special thanks are extended to all teachers and coaches for their assistance, as well as to the Port Shesptone Volleyball Association for its help and use of its facilities.

All matric pupils of 2016 are wished every success for their final examinations.
