JAI HIND Primary is proud to announce that the U13 soccer team won the 2016 Strini Moodley soccer tournament held at Port Shepstone Senior Primary last Saturday. The boys played four matches in the round robin stage winning 3 and drawing 1. In the semi-finals, Jai Hind beat Hlanganani 2-0 and beat PSSP 3-1 (1-1 after extra time) in the finals. Congratulations to all players for their sterling efforts. Well done to Ngcebo Biyasi for being awarded the man of the match. A big thank you to school coaches. The school would like to thank all sponsors, the Moodley family and the organising committee for hosting the tournament. Pupils received sponsored hampers and a floating trophy.
The market day took place last Friday as part of the EMS syllabus. Pupils had to ‘start up’ a business, sell products and show a profit. A well coordinated effort supported by teachers and other pupils resulted in resounding sales.
