Golfers raise funds for Southcity

SOUTHCITY’S third annual golf day at Margate Country Club last Friday, was a huge success. The day was well-attended with some 20 four-balls taking part. In addition, there were fun competitions such as the ‘sloppy putter’ which added to the atmosphere of the event.
The format was an alliance with the two best scores to count using an American Scramble on the drive. First prize (on a score of an excellent 114 points) was awarded to Mike Anthony, Richards Mills, Wayne Molyneaux and Brandon Saunders. Congratulations to Robbie Cumming for his hole-in-one on the fourth hole.
Thanks to all who took part on the day, especially those people who helped with the organisation, the numerous sponsors for their prizes, donations towards funds raised, to name a few. Last but not least, thanks to the team at Margate Country Club for the use of their fantastic facilities and event organisation.
