PSHS netballers chosen for KZN teams

Junior rugby teams fared well with both the U15 and U16 teams winning their matches.

THE KZN schools’ netball trials were held recently at Hoy Park and KwaMashu sports arenas in Durban. Sheppie High netball players did extremely well by being chosen for the top 20 squads in their respective age groups. Final trials saw Sibahle Thabede being selected for the U18 team and Khanya Nyide for the U16A team.

The school played netball, hockey and rugby against Suid-Natal High recently. The U14A netball team lost by one goal, the U15A team won by one goal and the U16A team won by three goals. Netball games played by the first and second teams took place a week earlier due to the KZN netball trials. The Sheppie High first team drew 15-15 and the second team won 6-4. The girls first hockey team won 3-0 and the U16 team lost 0-2. Junior rugby teams fared well against Suid-Natal High, with both the U15 and U16 teams winning their matches.
