IT IS with much regret that Margate Primary reports the death of Sonja Moore, a beloved gr 3 teacher, who taught at the school from January 1994.
Everyone will always remember the contributions she made, from coaching netball, inspiring all artists at school, writing, producing and creating costumes, to designing the stage for the gr 3 year-end plays. Mrs Moore was an exceptionally dedicated and capable teacher who was loved by all and the school recently honoured her memory with 2 special assemblies.
Margate Primary welcomes back all pupils and staff to a busy second term. A special welcome is extended to two new staff members, namely Sean McFarlane (gr 7) and Geraldine Swart (gr 5), who are wished a long and happy stay.
