Chelsea and Fyre win juniors

It was nice to see Gail Killian, one of South Africa's top handlers, with her Shetland sheepdogs.

AT THE Natal Junior Kennel Club Breed Show, Chelsea McGivern was placed first in the juniors with her dog Fyre (Australian shepherd) and their springer spaniel Glamour, won ‘Best of breed’ in her group. Michelle Howard also did very well with her Chinese crested Layla, who won the Best Junior Dog in her category and was placed fourth in the overall toy group.

It was nice to see Gail Killian, one of South Africa’s top handlers, down from Johannesburg with her very impressive Shetland sheepdogs taking advantage of the show at the Hibiscus Kennel Club’s Open Show held on April 13. Gail has qualified many times with her dogs to represent the Kennel Union of Southern Africa at the world champs.
