Scooby and Gaby do it again

Members to take note that winter training times start this Saturday.

THE Natal Boxer Club Show took place recently and the results were as follows: Contact, grade 3, Scooby and Gaby Frey 1st with the best overall time; non-contact, grade 1 large, Cassey and Gaby Frey 2nd with qualification; grade 2 large, Mackie and Jane Cruickshank, 2nd with qualification; grade 1 small, Vixen and Linda Lyte with qualification. Dog jumping, grade 3, Scooby and Gaby Frey.

April 13 was the Hibiscus Kennel Club’s turn to host an open show and 59 dogs competed with the following results: Contact, grade 1 large, KT and Gaby Frey 2nd, Cassey and Gaby Frey 4th; grade 1 small, Vixen and Linda Lyte 2nd; grade 3 small, Scooby and Gaby Frey 3rd; non-contact, grade 1 large, Jess and Elsie McKillen, grade 1 small, Vixen and Linda Lyte 1st, grade 2 large, KT and Gaby Frey. Dog jumping, grade 6, Mackie and Jane Cruickshank, 1st with qualification; grade 4, Minki and Sharon Derman 1st with qualification. Minki is the tiniest Yorkie with the biggest heart, the height she has to clear is actually higher than she is tall. Thank you to Les Blaikie and Beryl Verwoerd for judging the show.

Members to note that winter training times start this Saturday, May 3, at 2pm with orientation class and beginner’s agility, followed at 3pm by obedience and 4pm by advanced agility.
