Local dogs do well at show

The South Coast had a fair share of winners in Pinetown.

THE Natal Coast Open Show took place at Ashley Sport Grounds in Pinetown on Sunday, February 9 and South Coast Agility dogs turned out to compete.

The results are as follows:

Contact, grade 3: Large – 1 Turbo and Rosemarie Ludwig, 3 Romulus and Ann Shaw (PAD); small – 1 Sophie and Gail Taylor (DIA), 2 Chippie and Rosemarie Ludwig, 3 Icon and Desiree Grutter (PAD). Grade 1: Medium – 1 Miko and Elsie Pretorius with qc (DIA). 3 Mindy and Bernice Smit (PAD).

Non contact, Grade 3: Large – 2 Turbo and Rosemarie Ludwig, 3 Romulus and Ann Shaw (PAD); small – 1 Chippie and Rosemarie Ludwig, 2 Icon and Desiree Grutter (PAD), 3 Shiro and Elsie Pretorius (DIA). Grade 1: Medium – 1 Mindy and Bernice Smit with qc (PAD), 3 Miko and Elsie Pretorius (DIA).

Dog jumping, Grade 1 – 2 Spark and Gail Taylor (DIA), 3 Turbo and Rosemarie Ludwig. Grade 3 – 1 Shiro and Elsie Pretorius (DIA), 2 Mindy and Bernice Smit (PAD), 3 Icon and Desiree Grutter (PAD). Grade 4 – 1 Chloe and Sheldene Smit with qc (PAD).
