Creston hosts debut enduro

It proved to be a great family day out.

CRESTON’S college phase/senior primary inter-house athletics meeting took place in good weather at the school.

There were some star performances, with Donna Small breaking no less than seven records in the U18 division. Falcon house was the overall winner, while Eagle house won the spirit trophy.

The following pupils won the victor and victrix ludorum awards:

High school senior Zipho Dlangalala and Donna Small; high school junior Sherav Bridglall and Serena Pendleton-Browne.

Senior primary senior Karl Huizinga and Anathi Mkhize and senior primary junior Conner Horn and Natasha Arde and Emma Kuhn.

Last Sunday, Creston hosted the inaugural Lake Eland Creston Enduro event at Lake Eland. This family event, run over several days, was a great success with off road bikers and their families joining together for a great day of riding in the bush. Many thanks to Louis Boshoff who put the event together.

Congratulations to Fezeka Nzama, Sibu Ncgobo, Cassidy Calder, Afika Myoyo, Michaela Heaver and Elisa Rinaldi for making the South Coast soccer teams in their respective age groups. They represented Creston at the KZN soccer trials at Hillcrest High.
