Baby items donated to Sheppie hospital

Port Shepstone Regional Hospital said it was grateful to the Port Shepstone Lions Club and Bowlers for Babies for the generous donation.

The Port Shepstone Lions Club recently donated 40 baby parcels valued at R4 800 to the Port Shepstone Regional Hospital.

The hospital’s PRO, Phumza Morai, said the parcels provided new mothers with essential clothing and necessities.

She said the hospital was grateful to the Lions Club and Bowlers for Babies group for the generous donations to support young patients.

“The Bowlers for Babies group from Port Shepstone donated 42 packs of clothing for premature babies. The hospital’s operational manager of the nursery unit, Sister Ntombifikile Kawula, said the donations were important in enhancing patient care. She assured donors that the contributions directly benefit those in need,” said Morai.

Morai said the hospital thanked the Lions Club and Bowlers for Babies for their selfless contributions, saying that the donations exemplify the power of community and highlight the positive impact of collective action in healthcare.
