Man jailed 20 years for rape
A 46-year-old man was charged with the repeated rape of a ten-year-old which happened between April 2023 and February 2024.
The Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court recently sentenced Lungani Dominique Xaba of KwaNgwenda in Msinsini to 20 years in prison for the rape of a 10-year-old girl.
According to the police, the 46-year-old was charged with the repeated rape of the girl, which happened between April 2023 and February 2024.
Xaba was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
The investigating officer in the case was Detective Sergeant Nokwazi Mhlanga of the Port Shepstone Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS).
