Agri expert in Ugu retires

He started as an agricultural advisor and retired as deputy director.

The Deputy Director of the KZN Department of Agriculture in the Ugu District, Alson Cwele, has retired after 40 years of service.

His colleague, Siphosethu Hlongwane, said a farewell function was held at the Estuary Hotel last Wednesday.

“We bade farewell to a committed deputy director who demonstrated quality leadership, commitment and dedication to public service. He started as an agricultural advisor and retired as deputy director. He has shown unwavering commitment, professionalism and dedication,” said Hlongwane.

Alson Cwele has retired after 40 years with the Department of Agriculture in Ugu.
