Graduates urged to create employment

Students were encouraged to strive towards owning companies and being future employers.

Students of Esayidi TVET College recently bagged sums of money for top marks at a recent graduation ceremony.

Guest speakers encouraged students not to always rely on being employed but to strive towards owning companies and being future employers.

The diploma graduation ceremony was held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre.

A business management student, Lungisa Dlayiya scooped seven distinctions, R3 500 and gifts from Vodacom and Esayidi TVET College.

Two students, Nokukhanya Khumalo and Mphumzi Nolusu, received five distinctions each.

They were awarded R1 000 and gifts from Vodacom.

Khumalo and Nolusu were students from the Nyenyezi and Gamalakhe Campus, respectively.

The TVET College’s Acting Principal, Chiku Migochi and its Council Chairperson, Xolile Ntshulana, presented the students with their diploma certificates.
