‘Birds of a Feather’ exhibition approaches
Two renowned artists will officially open the event.
The artists of the local art club Art by the Sea will be having their annual exhibition at the Margate Art Museum during August and September.
This event is the undisputed highlight of the local art fraternity every year.
The theme for 2024 is Birds of a Feather, and artists really went to town in creating magnificent artworks featuring nature’s feathered friends.
Over and above these, there will also be landscapes and seascapes, portraits, street scenes, flowers, still life paintings and abstract artworks.
The exhibition will be opened on Thursday, August 1, by renowned artists Izzy Duarte and Diane Erasmus.
Art lovers who wish to be present at the opening night need to confirm attendance for catering purposes.
