Doctor aims for international pageant crown

After winning Mister Supranational South Africa 2024, the 'Good Doctor' is now in Malopolska, Poland to represent South Africa at Mister Supranational 2024 on July 4.

A former South Coast medical doctor, Fezile Mkhize, who is in the running for Mister Supranational 2024, recently won the Mister Influencer Facebook Challenge.

Winning the challenge has guaranteed Mkhize a spot in the Top 20 of Mister Supranational 2024.

After winning Mister Supranational South Africa 2024, the ‘Good Doctor’ is now in Malopolska, Poland, to represent South Africa at Mister Supranational 2024 on July 4.

Mkhize, also a television presenter from Oslo Beach, is now based in Johannesburg.

While competing for Mister Supranational South Africa 2024, Mkhize said losing several family members in the last few years has encouraged him to work harder, live life fully and make a difference in the lives of others.

“I have been through hard times, but whatever happens, I will always be able to find the silver lining. Having experienced the hard times gave me a lot of clarity at a young age, and I can feel my emotions and appreciate the impact people can have in our lives, even though they might not be there for a long time. Sometimes the only difference between a hero and villain is that both get hurt, but the hero chooses to try and make sure it doesn’t happen to others, or that those who do get hurt can work towards seeing it in a positive light,” said Mkhize.

At the competition’s recent opening ceremony in Poland, Mkhize said: “I am incredibly excited to be here and have had the honour of touching a beating heart and helping operate on it. It taught me that every moment and every beat is a blessing. Sometimes, when you are alone, you have to put your hand on your chest and count your blessings. I have so many blessings to count; do not forget to count yours.”

Mister Supranational South Africa National Director Stephen Segal said he is proud and honoured to have a man like Mkhize as the new Mister Supranational South Africa, saying that the hard work has started.

“We only have a short time to prepare him to represent South Africa at Mister Supranational 2024 on July 4 in Poland,” said Segal.
